Paw arrived one Christmas. A gift from the Tubblet's Auntie L. And she loved him. And loved him. And loved him some more. Every birthday and Christmas list for the next few years included a request for another one. Now we have eight. They don't make them any more so the Tubblet's plans to build an army of Paws has been thwarted.
A Paw's life is never dull. It is active, busy and they get up to lots of mischief. When they get really grubby, they have to have a bath. Sometimes fabric freshener isn't enough.
Into the washing machine they go, then back on the bed as if nothing had happened once they've dried ...
Very sad about the incident in Manchester a few days ago. We've been to loads of similar concerts with the Tubblet. While the music is not our thing, it's hers and developing and expressing your own taste is a real rite of passage for a young person. She always had the best time. Our prayers are with the families and friends of everyone involved as well as those who feel a little more anxious about the world right now. We also give thanks for all those who offered help and comfort when it was needed.
I can sympathise, I also have to do the occasional soft toy wash. They always look quite cute hanging up on the line. #StayClassyMama
ReplyDeleteThey do, don't they. So sweet looking, yet forlorn at the same time!
DeleteI have to sneak my daughters toys into the bath these days... If they see them all hell will break loose! What a sad week we have had in Britain!!

The Tubblet gets really indigent. She must have no sense of smell ... It has been a very sad week :(
DeleteWow - so many paws! The mouse has two of a little snuggly rabbit and they definitely need a boil wash every now and again!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with #coolmumclub -what a week xx
A boil wash! Wow, rabbit must be super robust! Indeed - what a week. Hopefully we won't get another one like that any time soon
DeleteMy son loves cuddly toys too. It's a wonder he can fit into bed sometimes. But yes they do have to be wrestled away for a wash sometimes. Thank you for linking up to #ablogginggoodtime 🎉
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting each week :) It's strange, the Tubblet never had any interest in dolls, just cuddly toys
DeleteHahah aw that's too cute she has eight of them all lined up! My son hasn't really been attached to anything hes a free floater. I used to love beanie babies and had a huge collection of them that took up my entire bed haha. Thanks for sharing with #StayClassyMama!
ReplyDeleteThe Tubblet went through various favourites over the years, but with the Paw, it was true love! I have no idea why that toy and not any of the other lovely ones she had over the years. There is still time for your son to find The One True Toy
