The Tubblet loves anime, manga and all things Pokémon. Her love affair with Pokémon GO was short lived as, fun though it is, it drains phone batteries and gobbles up data allowances. Other games want money or serious skills or time.
Neko Atsume, the Kitty Collector Game, requires none of these. Just a love of cute cats. The player purchases food, toys, and furniture to attract different cats to their virtual home. Then watches the cats interact with objects and takes photos of them to save in an album. In exchange for food and goodies, the cats leave gifts of fish and strange little mementos like a piece of ribbon or tiny bell.
The game has no end as cats continue to come as long as food appears. The cats aren't bothered by what food is out, as long as there is food. Much like the real thing.
If you're the competitive sort and want to attract the maximum amount of cats at any one time, then the goodies multiple cats can play with in the Zen Garden is the way to go. Like in the very first photo.
All the cute comes in a free download from the Android and Apple App stores. Search for "Kitty Collector" or "Neko Atsume".

A film is being released in Japan later this year. If it does well, we'll probably get the English language rom-com version the following year. Don't say I didn't warn you!
I'm not entirely sure I understand the point of this game but I have an awful feeling I might spend the next few days playing it! #Fridayfrolics
ReplyDeleteIt is totally pointless, but very addictive. Have fun if you do decide to download it
DeleteThat looks like a game I wouldn't mind playing. And I don't even like gaming. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's great fun :) I don't like gaming either, but I do like this
DeleteI need to know what that pink toy is that the cat is playing in with in the third picture. Some sort of alien? #FridayFrolics
ReplyDeleteIt's a rabbit. A very strange looking rabbit!
DeleteThis sounds like fun! Maybe I should show my little ones - the youngest is obsessed with our cat, who is her 'best friend'. Sadly, the cat doesn't quite agree so maybe I should let her loose on these cats instead! Thanks so much for joining #FridayFrolics
ReplyDeleteCats tend to run from small children. Our cat is somewhat wary of teenagers as well. It's taken him a while to get used to the Tubblet
DeleteSunburns, peeling skin and tan lines can sabotage your special day. zero waste beauty products
