Treating yourself can be expensive. Expensive isn't an option if you're trying to save or money is tight as I am right now. Today I wanted to share a few ways to treat yourself without spending much (any) cash:
- A hot bath.
- A good book. Either an old friend or a new one.
- Fresh bedding.
- Watch your favourite TV show or film. Wrapped in a blanket.
- Pamper yourself - face mask, manicure and pedicure.
- Play a board game.
- A nice cup of tea or coffee.
- Add a packet of your favourite sweets to your weekly food shop.
- Chin-wag with a good friend.
- Fresh flowers. Carnations last for ages and are often on offer.
What are your favourite ways to treat yourself without spending little or any money?

All of the above sound bliss! I work from home so once the kids are in bed my evenings are spent working. People hugely take this time for granted! I'm off work this week and being able to relax in front of the telly with my other half and paint my nails feels amazing!! #pocolo
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the free time and pampering :) Thank you for commenting
DeleteThe only treat I spend money on, is my hair. I love playing with colour! You are right though, it doesn't cost a lot to put yourself first, sometimes. My favourite thing is to sit on my bed, Netflix on the laptop and a hot coffee, bliss x
ReplyDeleteOh, that does sound lovely :)
DeleteI absolutely adore the idea of watching a TV show, all snug under a blanket. Being on a budget can suck, but I think parenthood also forces you to stay in a lot more- cannot remember the last time I ventured outside my town!
ReplyDeleteIt does. We rarely went anywhere that wasn't family when the Tubblet was small :) Thank you for commenting
DeleteI love watching BBC iPlayer! Free and they have nice new shows. I love Thirteen and I am so sad its finish but I am looking forward to some new shows! They have one!

We love iPlayer too :) So much good stuff. We're currently working our way though the Night Manager
DeleteA treat for me would be a nice bubble bath, followed by a nice meal and dessert then a good book followed by an early night! Sounds boring to some, but would be heaven for me!! Thanks for linking up to the #BinkyLinky

DeleteA fab list! Taking care of yourself and getting time alone, especially as a parent, is so vital to emotional wellbeing. Thanks for sharing :) #binkylinky
ReplyDeleteIt is. :) You need to take care of yourself so you can take care of others
DeleteIt does sound a blissful list - for me it's about a proper cup of tea, with leaves not teabags, a cup and saucer and a magazine I've been saving for the right moment. Thanks for linking up to #PoCoLo and enjoy those treats :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I went to a rather posh coffee shop and they made the tea in a pot and it was lovely! So much nicer than with bags. Thank you for hosting each week
