... the grass is risen and the birdies have started appearing. I'm not sure how it's spring again so quickly, but here we are. The days are getting longer. Which is great as I no longer come home in the dark. Although it's still cold, the sun has started appearing and it's great to get outside and get some breathing space.
It's time to think about how I'm getting on with those goals. Some may not be so relevant now, whilst others are even more so. It's also time to 'fess up that there probably hasn't been as much progress on some of them as I'd like. (Post to follow? Of course!)
As it's spring, I could start thinking about doing some spring cleaning. Cleaning out cupboards is really cathartic and stops my mind from wandering. Clean, tidy surroundings make such a difference to how you feel. (Post on that? Of course! Planning my content whilst blogging. Oh yes!0
The other thing I could think about is what I want from the next few months. Do I want to be busy or do I want to take things more slowly and be a bit leisurely.
What do you plan to do this spring?
Spring has indeed sprung and I'm delighted about it. I have plans ot take it easier after I return from a mad trip to Australia I leave for at the end of this week. It's takewn up so much of my time recently and I feel terribly guilty for not doing more with the kids. On my return, a more leisurely pace for sure. #MMWBH
ReplyDeleteAustralia?! So jealous ... Have a wonderful time and lots of adventures
DeleteI can't wait to spend more time outdoors once the weather (hopefully) gets better. The sun has to come out at some point. Right? #bestandworst
ReplyDeleteWe have sun today and I'm not quite sure what to do with myself ...! So looking forward to summer :)
Deletewe had a surprise foot of snow last week. I'm afraid it doesn't feel very springy here yet.
ReplyDeleteI can see why you wouldn't feel very spring like after that :(

DeleteSpring has sprung here in East Tennessee and it's beautiful! The children and I are planning a garden and raising baby chicks. Spring always feels like it's so full of possibilities doesn't it? #MMBH
ReplyDeleteAh, baby chicks are adorable! I'm glad spring is beautiful where you are. It's rather grey here at the moment :(
DeleteMy mantra for the Spring is 'Slow down'...we walked to and from nursery for the first time ever this week, hope to do more of the same now the sunshine is here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to #coolmumclub Mrs Tubbs!
That sounds wonderful. Sadly I can't walk to work as it's too far away :(
DeleteI love a daffodil! Spring has definitely sprung and not a day to soon. We actually hand fed lambs yesterday. I could not feel any more springful' if I tried! Although still haven't felt the urge to clean yet... ;) Lovely spring post. Looking forward to reading your other posts to follow.

It's lovely seeing the spring lambs at the farm butchers we go to. (Not thinking about their final fate though!) But feeding them?! What a privilege

ReplyDeleteMe too! Summer's coming!
DeleteNot a clue what I plan to do! Love the blog planning while blogging approach though - so efficient! #MMWBH
ReplyDeleteYeah, but planning in public means you actually have to write it! Which can be a problem :)
DeleteI love spring time and all the blooms. Makes every seem happier when the sun is shining and easier to get motivated and get things done I think. Thanks for sharing your spring sprung on #sharewithme
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting each week :)
DeleteI just love Spring. I love being outdoors with my kids and we just planted some of our garden. I love the sunshine and the warmth it brings. I grew up in southern Nevada where it was warm 9 months of the year and now I'm in northern Nevada where it's cold 9 months of the year. I too need to do some spring cleaning and purging of stuff we don't use. Thanks for linking with #momsterslink! Hope to see you again tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful :) Thank you for hosting each week :)
