Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a good weekend and that all is well. First up, a big thank you to everyone at #anythinggoes for choosing my post, Surviving Winter, as the people's choice. Displaying my badge with pride on the post itself and in the about me section. wOOt!
After all the work editing my wardrobe and cutting my spending, I thought I'd share some of my favourite winter pieces with you. They're comfortable and work for almost every occasion if paired with the right accessories. Apart from, maybe, work. (I'll do a similar summer post when the sun finally comes back).

Squirrel Top
When I first saw this, I didn't like it but I had to buy something from Mistral as my credit note was about to expire so I grabbed this top. I've worn it almost constantly ever since.Jeans
I wear these Fat Face contour slim jeans almost every time I go out at the weekend. They're comfortable and go with almost everything.
Cardigans
Put them on when you're cold and take them off when you're hot. These come in lots of colours, wash really well and last for ages. Thank you Marks & Spencer!Bag
My Mary Poppins bag from Coach. I bought another bag from them and had to return it as the handle started fraying. As the bag I was returning was now on sale, there was enough money left for an extra bag. Behold, the extra bag! The staff at Coach were excellent and I was really impressed with the service.
There's a Seasalt denim dress and purple Doc Martens as well, but the photos are gone and everything heavily Winter is packed away so I couldn't up-date those photos. Sorry!

[Disclosure: I bought these items with my own money. Oh how I envy people who can take pictures of clothes that don't look like dodgy eBay listings]
Love those jeans and that top together #sharethejoy
ReplyDeleteThank you. It's my favourite outfit :)
DeleteI love your purple DMs! I have a warm, comfy jumper that I pull on when I want to relax, it's so old though that it's more of an 'at home' item nowadays!
ReplyDeleteI've got an old hoody of Rev T's that I bumble around the house in. Warm and cozy - what's not to love! Thank you for commenting :)
DeleteI love the squirrel top - I have tunic like it that I wear a lot at the moment #fartglitter

DeleteLooks like you've found the perfect jeans! And I'm a big fan of Coach bags too after hubbie brought me one back from a recent trip to the US. Thanks for linking up at #sharethejoy and congrats for your award too! x (Michelle at The Joy Chaser and The Essex Barn)

DeleteI love squirrels so the squirrel top has to by my fave piece here! I do love the DMs too though, you can never go wrong with DMs! :D #anythinggoes
ReplyDeleteI like squirrels but got bitten by one once so don't get too close. It had been hit by a car and we were trying to get it in a cat basket to take to the vets. It thanked me by biting me. Two hours in A&E and some injections! Nice!
DeleteOooh lots of good bits here. Love the Sea Salt dress / smock! And I need to get myself some of those cardigans! Congrats on your winning post. #TwinklyTuesday
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. Glad you liked them :)
DeleteI love your bag! I used to have black and also cherry coloured Doc Martins, I loved them! My go to items now is usually dresses, I love just throwing on one piece and adding some nice jewellery. Thanks for linking up xx #mg
ReplyDeleteThank you. I was so chuffed to get it. Your go to outfits sound lovely :)
DeleteI think you and I have almost the same wardrobe except I am woefully missing some purple Doc Martins. At the moment I spend almost every day outside of work in denim shorts. Looking forward to getting back to Europe and my jeans.
